I’m tired. Not in general, but of things:
1. Getting a rush of spam comments, and then when I go to delete them I accidentally delete a real comment awaiting moderation. If I’ve done that to you, I’m sorry.
2. Women on reality shows acting like idiots thereby giving the rest of us a bad name.
3. People being put down or brushed off for the way they feel about their bodies. Opinion: I think you, me, Oprah, and whoever else has a right to call themselves whatever they want. Why do we care to control that? Isn’t it a personal thing? And if you do care, why project that onto yourself? Enlighten me.
4. People not holding doors. Look behind you. How hard is it?
5. Cold weather.
6. Cold weather.
I’m actually in a great mood this morning. I mean, yes, it’s cold and I have to go to work and no one showed up with my million-dollar inheritance at the door this morning, but today’s a good day. I just sometimes get tired. Of things. Lame, I know.
Oh, look, here’s a pretty picture to distract us:

It’s ok to complain. Like right now I would complain about having to type in my name, email and url in every blog I comment on but then I think, “do I need to change some setting on my computer?” because WHY is it all of them? Minor issue but still, feels good to get it out.
Why DON’T people hold doors? It really annoys me.
I can’t even watch shows like The Bachelor for that very reason you stated.
Oooooooooh… look at the pretty picture…
Yes yes yes on number 3. We’re always telling people that they should or should not feel a certain way in general, especially about their bodies, but still…even in general it annoys me!
That’s gorgeous. I would like to be there right now as I am also Tired Of Things. Road trip?
I’ve been weaving together a list like this in my head, recently, too. Right now I don’t like mouth-breathers or people who talk to me before I get settled in at my desk in the morning.
Totally agree with you on the body issue stuff. We’re all entitled to our own opinions.
If you are referring to The Bachelor, I totally agree! And there are definitely things that we encunter everyday that are wearing and tiring, but as long as the good things outweigh them, I’ll take it.
the dumb girls on reality shows make me laugh and make me realize that i am not all that much of a train wreck afterall!
What’s even worse than the dumb girls on reality shows is…oh, wait, there’s not much worse.
it’s not lame. just is.
I swear I’ve commented on each post for the last six months, but nothing shows. Huh, I get it.
Ha, you’re hilarious and definitely not lame.
I loved that picture yesterday when I read the post and attempted to pick up the pieces of my data base and control the fall out.
And cold… oh how I would love to have a warm winter this year… one that doesn’t involve ice!! (and that is what I mean by warm because winter isn’t winter without a bit of frost or cold)
