November historically, for me, has been kind of a significant month. It’s sort of when things happen for me, or when I make things happen. Or when I take the time to sit back and look at what’s happened. It’s the month I got my first Grown-up Job. It’s the month after my birthday. It’s the month when winter really starts to kick in (read: kick my butt) here in Colorado.
And this November, well, it’s looking to be just as interesting. It’s gonna be big, for me. It’s going to be different and scary and not at all well-planned. So I figure why not try to post every day in November?* There’s a chance that by the end of the month I’ll be begging to be put into a medically induced coma, so having posts to look back on might be a good idea for when I come out of that coma. I can be like oh yeah, lookie there, that’s the day I lost my mind.
Some days the posts may just be photos, some days they may just consist of a recording of me saying to myself “it’s going to be okay, it’s going to be okay, it’s GOING TO BE OKAY.” And who wouldn’t want to look back on that?
It’s a darn good thing I have a superhero mask and a cute kid to keep me grounded:

*It’s called NaBloPoMo. I’ve never participated before, but what appropriate timing.
