Umm, fall? Are you there? It’s me, girl with no job and plenty of time to come out and play.
It went by so fast, and then, boom: snow. Like this weekend, there will be snow. And next week, there will be snow. And the weeks and weeks after that. Yes, thank you, I am Captain Obvious.
I will try not to complain too much, at least not today. Because today, I am free! Well, free from a job. And I’m about to start my temporary unemployment….. NOW.
Ahhh, that feels good.

And I tell you what, a decision is never more reinforced when throughout the day on your very last day streams of people come by to say goodbye and wish you well. All except for the one person who should do it, though. That person left without saying a word.
Some people call that rude. While yes, that is true, it is damned rude, I think I’m going to call it REINFORCEMENT. I absolutely made the right decision.

Even if I have my moments of panic, even though I’m going to still be a little bitter that fall lasted five minutes as I’m sitting in a foot of snow, I will know I did the right thing. That will keep me plenty warm.
