Oh, I love and relate to this post!!
Spring is making itself known here now (finally) and I am taking full advantage with shorts and sandals!

Love the pictures and that spring is here and that winter is that much closer to being another year away (though it has its good points... )

We've had a really mild winter so signs of spring all over the place for the past few weeks (birds chirping, flowers blooming, buds on the trees...) but then today a cold snap rolled in. What a wake-up call when it started snowing on campus (sea-level!) - no fun! I hope your signs of spring stick around!

You know I understand, you know I agree, and you must also know, that this yearly post about your first signs of spring always brings me some element of sadness. Because it means that (whilst you are heading toward the beautiful sunshine of summer) I am heading toward winter. And I am already wishing it was me heading into summer and winter had somehow magically passed me by.
Lucky you!

That reminds me very much of Fish Creek Park, a huge valley just two blocks from my house! We really do live in similar terrains, and we had glorious weather yesterday too, although I simply opened the doors and windows and stayed indoors.
